Teledyne Optech boosts
presence in China with
General Manager Wenjie
Wang—
Teledyne
Optech
is pleased to announce that
Wenjie Wang has joined the
company in the position of
General Manager for China. In
his new position, Wenjie will
work in Teledyne’s growing
office in Beijing to provide his
in-depth experience to existing
and prospective clients. Mr. Wang will report directly to Don
Carswell, President of Teledyne Optech.
Mr. Wang has more than 20 years of experience in the
surveying and mapping industry. Prior to coming to Teledyne
Optech, Mr. Wang worked in senior management roles in
Intergraph Corporation and Leica Geosystems for sales,
marketing and support. Wenjie’s responsibilities as General
Manager include overall responsibility for Teledyne Optech
in China, including expanding the team to strengthen sales,
delivery, training, local inventory and client support. He
holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Xian Highway
University.

Lynx SG-S mobile surveying
solution
is
excited to announce the addition
of the
system
to its line of Lynx mobile survey
systems. Introduced at the
INTERGEO 2015 trade fair in
Stuttgart, Germany, the Lynx SG-S dramatically raises the
bar for absolute data accuracy with mid-range mobile lidars.
Boasting a high-performance lidar sensor combined with the
industry-leading
software, high performance
inertial navigation system, and deeply integrated Ladybug
5 camera, the Lynx SG-S is built for surveyors conducting
demanding, high-performance projects. To improve portability
and avoid time-consuming boresight routines, all these
components are mounted on a single light-weight platform,
letting operators easily move the system from one vehicle to
another or even remove it every night for operational security.
The Lynx SG-S employs a world-class software suite that
delivers real-time data display and survey control with Optech
Lynx Survey and trajectory optimization with Applanix
POSPac. Lynx SG-S reaches new heights of accuracy and
productivity with Optech Lidar Mapping Suite 3.0, which
rectifies both lidar and image data in a single workflow,
compensates for satellite signal losswith segmented polynomial
corrections, and validates the project with detailed accuracy
reporting. The Lynx SG-S system is positioned between the
mapping-grade Lynx MG model and industry-leading Lynx SG
mobile survey systems.
