ASPRS 2021 Workshop: Photogrammetry Meets Surveying

Have you ever tried to explain photogrammetry to your friends in 5 minutes? We will work you through the process of integrating high-level photogrammetric tasks into the palm of the daily surveyor with a simple but still accurate solution.
In this workshop, we will discuss the implementation of photogrammetry in our software, considering different aspects, i.e. market impact, development challenges in the fusing of technologies, and enhanced productivity keeping the high quality of final deliverables.
For this, we will take a closer look at the integration of leading drone vendors in Trimble and how it can be used to extract automatic point clouds and orthophoto mosaics, while learning and discussing the process parameters. Finally, we would like to run an open discussion and look forward to hearing your wishes and feedback.
