ASPRS Gulf South Region 2025 Annual Meeting

The American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Gulf South Region (Louisiana & Texas) will hold its 4th Annual Business Meeting & Geospatial Conference March 12th-14th at the University of Texas' Commons Conference Center. The Annual Business Meeting will be held Wednesday evening, March 12th followed by a Welcome Reception. This in-person only event will feature six geospatial technical sessions, a 4-hour Preparation for ASPRS Certification Workshop, a Geospatial Experts Panel moderated by Kent Groh of the Geoholics, and an abundance of networking opportunities for attendees and sponsors. Attendees will receive one (1) Professional Development Hour (PDH) for each technical session they attend. The Objectives of the Gulf South Region include advancing knowledge in imaging and geospatial information within the Region, so with that idea in mind we have put together an agenda for 2025 that will support this mission. Proceeds from this event, minus expenses, go to the Gulf South Region Education Fund.

Description
Preparation for ASPRS Certification Workshop This workshop covers the common knowledge areas comprising a large portion of exam content for ASPRS Certification. It is valuable preparation for those who have never taken an ASPRS exam, as well as for those who have expertise in a particular specialty, such as lidar or UAS, but feel less prepared for the general knowledge component of the exam.
