NEW SUSTAINING MEMBER
ASPRS is proud to welcome the following new Sustaining Members. More infor-
mation on becoming a Sustaining Member is available at
Aerovel Corporation
83 Oak Ridge Road, White Salmon, WA 98672

;
Aerovel Corporation develops robotic aircraft in Washington State’s Columbia Gorge. The firm
is small, focused and experienced. Aerovel is led and staffed by veterans of the Aerosonde and
ScanEagle aircraft series. The firm has over a century of unparalleled industry experience.
Our flagship product is the Flexrotor, an INTELLIGENT ROBOTIC AIRCRAFT which
offers an unprecedented combination of long range and endurance together with vertical
takeoff and landing (VTOL). VTOL allows the aircraft to operate autonomously from sites
having restricted access, including boats in rough weather. Automation encompasses the full
ground-handling cycle, from retrieval through parking, fueling, and launch using an unat-
tended, portable base station. The equipment is designed for low operating cost, a high ratio of
flight-hours to man-hours, and wide-ranging operation over oceans and remote areas.
The standard Flexrotor payload consists of a daytime or nighttime imaging turret. Other
remote sensing payloads are available.
Applications include aerial photography and imaging, observation, situational awareness,
surveillance, reconnaissance, scientific data collection, security, search and rescue.
Thank You!
