The Mid-South Region sponsored 9 new

the background and interest of the students, some sections
of the book may need to be skipped or expanded upon by the
instructor. For instance, if all students are relatively familiar
with computer software and navigating operating systems
such as Windows, some of the introductory text may be
deemed unnecessary and skipped in favor of introducing more
complex spatial analyses. Fortunately, Kennedy also provides
a companion website for instructors, as well as a DVD with the
example data and many of the figures from the book, some in
color, to aid in the teaching process.
