Instructions for Poster Presentations

Materials:
The surface space available for each poster is 4' high x 8' wide. Presenters should bring their posters ready to mount on the display board.

A banner with a conference logo, poster title and author(s)'s names will be provided. These banners will take up 5-6 inches on the top of the poster board so please plan accordingly if you plan on using the banner. There are no formatting restrictions, but please make sure all text is in a dark type that is easily readable.

This year, for the first time, we are accepting electronic posters. A presenter MUST bring their own laptop computer for displaying their poster. If you choose to use a laptop, a small table and an electrical outlet will be available for use as space permits. If you require this set up, you must notify the ASPRS Meeting Manager (akinerney@asprs.org) no later than Oct. 11 to reserve a space.

NOTE: Each presenter will be responsible for the security of their own laptop as Adam's Mark Hotel and the conference organizers take no responsibility for security of the computers.

Schedule:
Posters have been organized into 2 sessions. Each session will last a full day at the conference. Authors are being asked to be present at their posters during the morning break times on each day from 10:00 am - 10:45 am. This will allow conference participants to view and discuss the work with the authors.

NOTE: the four transportation posters sessions have the same put up and take down times, but different times for being present at posters, as shown in the conference program.

Applications Showcase & Poster Session 1 - Wednesday, November 13, 2002:

Posters being presented on Wed., Nov. 13th, can be put up either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. Help will be available from 5-6 pm on Tuesday and 7-8 am Wednesday. These posters are to be taken down between 6-7 pm Wednesday.

Applications Showcase & Poster Session 2 - Thursday, November 14, 2002:

Posters being presented on Thursday, Nov. 14th can be put up either Wednesday, late afternoon or Thursday morning. Help will be available from 6-7 pm Wednesday and 7-8 am Thursday. These posters should be taken down at the end of the Concluding General Session on Thursday.
