ASPRS CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
O
nce a year, ASPRS members elect a new Vice-
President to the Board of Directors. That person
moves up to President-Elect in his/her second
year, then President in the third year and finally
Immediate Past President in the fourth year.
Candidates typically rotate from the academic, private and government sectors
and for the 2020 election, we are soliciting candidates from the academic sector.
The Vice President shall represent the elective officers at meetings of the Region
Officers Council, oversee the Treasurer’s activity, and have such other duties as the
President or the Board of Directors may assign, including those of the President-
Elect in the event of disability of that officer.
The Governance Committee shall certify that all nominees are qualified, willing
to serve, and meet the requirements set forth in the ASPRS Bylaws before the
announcement of nominees.
If you are an active member of ASPRS or you know an active member who
would be qualified and interested in running for this position, please contact
.
